Practical, Hands-On Training

dentistacademyHere is what a typical Saturday for a National Dental Academy class looks like: the morning will be devoted to lectures, and in the afternoon you will apply what you learned with hands-on dental assisting training. All of the dental tools can seem overwhelming at first, but once you learn how to work with all of the instruments, equipment, and materials commonly used by dental practices, you’ll feel comfortable handling them quickly. You will have a study guide to work on during the week to strengthen your current skills and prepare you for the next step in your training. We take pride in how knowledgeable and experienced our graduates are after they are finished with our course!

National Dental Academy is unique from other dental assisting school because our classes are located in a real-life dental office. We find it very encouraging for our students to learn their skills in an environment that they’ll be working in after you graduate. You will be even more confident with your new profession as a dental assistant with this extra level of preparation.
